For convenient parking, we recommend using the Lakeside Car Park (postcode CA12 5BX), you will find plenty of spaces, even for motorhomes & public toilets. From here, you can walk one way to explore the Lake, or walk in the other direction, taking a scenic walk through Hope Park and head straight into the heart of town!

Fitz Park is a beautifully maintained park running alongside the river Greta. Here you will find a fantastic playpark with zip line and cricket pitch. Just outside the park is Keswick Museum & Art Gallery and West Cafe. Cross the road and head over to the upper park where you will find a friendly cafe hidden between the trees.
The Keswick to Threlkeld Trail is a scenic accessible route for walkers & cyclists. This 5km each way trail is suitale for all ages and fitness levels (even prams)

You will find a variety of shows; thought provoking dramas, family friendly comedies, live music events and much more. Step aboard an art deco train carriage for a truly unique dining experience. Enjoy delicious afternoon teas, lunches and cakes in a vintage setting. While booking is advised for dining upon the train, the ticket office is walk in only. Dog friendly. There is disabled parking only at the cafe however there is plenty of parking along the roadside.
After your lunch why not cross the road and walk around Dubwath Silver Meadows Wetland Nature Reserve. This board walk is pram and wheelchair friendly.

Mirehouse & Gardens is a charming historic house set in stunning grounds along the lakeshore. Head inside the house to learn all about its history. In the beautiful gardens you will find a number of woodland playgrounds. There is a pay on exit car park. Dogs are welcome in the gardens only, please keep them out of the playground areas.

Rookery Woods Adventure Playground is perfect for anyone under 8. You will find ziplines, slides, soft archery and much more.
