Quakergate Cottage

Quakergate Cottage is a fully renovated 3 bedroom detached cottage. Dating back to the 17th century it was a former Quaker meeting house before its conversion to a house in the 1990s. The centrally heated holiday accommodation comprises a lounge with wood burning stove, fully fitted dinning kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. Bedrooms include one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom.

The cottage overlooks Morland beck and is surrounded by open fields on three sides. It has a small private garden and driveway with parking for several cars.

Morland has to be one of Cumbria's most picturesque villages. The village centre is a short walk away along the river. There you will find the village pub, café and tearooms, village school and church.

All bills are included as well as all bedding and towels. Telephone for incoming and emergency calls only. Cot available.

With electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven.

There is also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.

A traditional Cumbrian stone cottage

The cottage is in a peaceful area of Cumbria with lovely walks, picturesque villages and very few tourists. The Lake District National Park is within 20 minutes drive. There is ample parking. Two well behaved dogs welcome.
