This delightful 1 bedroom cottage is situated in beautiful open countryside on the northern fringes of the Lake District National Park, close to fell villages of Caldbeck, Hesket New Market and Uldale. With 23 acres of land attached to the cottage guests can enjoy the vast array of bird and wildlife and the panoramic views to the sea and the Scottish Hills beyond.
Woodpecker Cottage is well placed for those who want to walk the tranquil northern fells or to visit the unspoilt Cumbrian coast, Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall. The picturesque Cumbrian village of Caldbeck with a pub, tea rooms and shop is only 3 miles away. The nearest of the Lake District lakes is Bassenthwaite - only 10 miles away.
This centrally heated (gas) holiday accommodation comprises lounge, fully fitted dining kitchen, one large double bedroom and large four-piece bathroom with shower. It also has a small private garden area with views.
