About the farm
Wallace Lane Farm is a 23 acre smallholding located three miles from the Cumbrian fell village of Caldbeck and the Lake District National Park. Owned and run by Janet & John Stanyer and family.
We currently have three luxury self catering holiday cottages, as well as a small camping and caravan site. We also offer bed and breakfast in the Farmhouse.
The farm and cottages are surrounded by rolling hills and fields. With fantastic views to the Lake District fells to the south, and over the Solway plain to the sea and the Scottish hills in the north.
We raise our own rare breed sheep as well as free range chickens and ponies. All our holiday accommodation is pet friendly so dogs are welcome.

Self-Catering Cottages and B&B in Northern Cumbria
Wallace Lane Farm has 3 4-star self-catering holiday cottages in Cumbria and provides bed and breakfast holiday accommodation on the farm near Caldbeck.
Nuthatch Cottage and Woodpecker Cottage are set in the 23-acre grounds of Wallace Lane Farm, just outside the delightful Cumbrian village of Caldbeck, and are also close to Wigton, Heskett Newmarket and Uldale.
Quakergate Cottage is is situated in the beautiful village of Morland overlooking Morland beck and is surrounded by open fields, in the stunning Eden Valley in Cumbria.
All our cottages are fully equipped and graded to 4 stars by the Visit Britain Tourist board. We are a family and pet friendly farm and welcome young and old alike to this beautiful part of the world.
Woodpecker Cottage
Delightful cottage near Caldbeck with one double bedroom and bathroom with shower. Cottage garden with seating and stunning views. Dogs welcome.
Nuthatch Cottage
Near Caldbeck, the cottage has 2 double bedrooms, each ensuite. Beamed ceilings and wood-burning stove in the lounge. Private patio. Pet/dog friendly.
Quakergate Cottage
Tastefully renovated Quaker chapel in the beautiful village of Morland. Sleeps 4/5 in three bedrooms. Lounge with wood-burning stove. Lawned garden with furniture. Dogs welcome.

Wallace Lane Farm also offers traditional Cumbrian bed and breakfast accommodation in its farmhouse. 3 bedrooms (one double, one kingsize and one family room).
Camping and caravaning at Wallace Lane Farm, Caldbeck
We hope to have our new CL camping and caravaning site in operation by summer 2010 we will be able to accommodate up to 5 caravans at a time. Each pitch will have hard standing area 10amp electrical hook up and water. A chemical disposal point will be available with a new toilet block and shower for the 2011 season. We will also have room for a limited number of tents and trailer tents.
